Lastovo archipelago - Uninhabited island Mrcara

Limited accommodation up to 30 persons

In some moments each person wish to go far away from everyday life, from common rules, from the same people  and  to find and discover something really different and new. You can take such an opportunity spending unusual holidays on uninhabited island Mrcara (ca 17o ha), 2 Nm far from bigger island Lastovo, surrounded with several smaller islets with which it makes  safe and  beautiful bay.

The nature itself,  the sea and the wood enriched with animals on the island, fish in the sea and sea-gulls  on the sky; islets and endless horizon; unusual music harmony of unknown sounds: murmur of the sea and cicadas noise... that, and much more makes unique ecological paradise, joy for the body and the rest for the soul!

There are about 2,5 km marked and beaten tracks ideal for trekking and jogging, a cave on the top peak of the island, 2 pebble beaches on the oposite sides of the island, and a pier with a landing-place even for a 20 m long boat.

Resort Mrcara gets electricity from generating unit, and it is used primary for food storage &  cooling drinks .
Owners, Rada and Branko Pavelin, offer accommodation with breakfast and dinner 20 m far from the sea  in the stone house (6 rooms, 6 showers and toilets) and in 3 wooded 4 bed-cottages. Accommodation is limited up to 30 persons.

Food is daily fresh prepared and mostly prevail food that owners breed and hunt ( fish, sea shells, eggs, chicken, goats...). It is prepared in traditional way (roasted, baked, under bellcover, grilled ...)

Besides extremely clean sea guests are offered with photo safari in Mrcara resort, participation in night fishing with professional fisherman, rent a boat, jogging, learn traditional Dalmatian cooking, organized scuba diving for groups and trips around Lastovo.
